Mixed use developments offer a means of combining places to live, work and play. In doing so, these types of developments bring vibrancy and a sense of community to the area in which they are built.

Guntlow & Associates has had the opportunity to work on several mixed-use projects. On Spring Street in Williamstown, G&A was responsible for all aspects of architectural and site design and permitting of the 21-23 and 61-63 Spring Street sites. These combine apartments, retail, restaurant and office space in the Village Business District. In addition, we performed site planning and permitting for the B&L building and American LegionĀ . The construction of these projects has improved the vibrancy and commerce of Spring Street. They have encouraged pedestrian traffic and in turn, greatly improved the sense of community throughout this zoning district.

At Jiminy Peak Ski Resort, again, G&A was responsible for all aspects of architectural and site design and permitting for the Village Center buildings, where retail and restaurant uses are combined with condominium living.
