G&A has been actively involved in many Master Planning undertakings with clients such as the Clark Art Institute, Jiminy Peak Ski Resort, Vacation Village of the Berkshires, Silverleaf Resorts, Northern Berkshire Health Systems and Williams College. Each of these clients has been moving forward with the phased implementation of their Master Plan, often times guided by cost impacts and revenue generation. For our resort projects, these phases have included additional timeshare units as well as commercial and recreational components. For health care campus master planning, projects have included assisted living residential phases, parking facility expansion and state of the art medical facilities.

The master planning process provides a framework for future development which generally includes an illustrative plan accommodating growth and expansion over time. Comprehensive goals of the Owner should be reflected in each Master Plan. They establish general areas upon which the plan should focus and provide a basis for setting priorities. Cost implications with fund raising mechanisms also drive the overall phasing plan required to implement long term goads. A Master Plan should also be flexible as future needs can not always be projected.
